    Hi Dan & Blake,
Thanks for the words of encouragement.
Next task , painting the ceiling & floor coverings, then i can move the tanks to final position , plumb in the water lines & then cross fingers ready to go.
Will take a month max hopefully.

    Ben,
Hey I like what your doing so far .I am curios why your using white to panit your tanks.I always came across that if your overall lighting was not that bright your discus will not be skiddish.I like the project so far. What are you going to do for lighting the tanks.

    Hi Dave,
Thanks for the comments. The tanks are actually painted a light sky blue colour. I have a piece of 10mm perspex fully siliconed as a divider.
I am not sure what i going to do about final lighting, but am planning to start with a standard fluro light on timmer mounted in the ceiling to start & see how the fish settle in.
    Thanks for looking.

    Hi All,
Well last weekend i finished painting the ceiling , touching up the walls & painting the floor of the shed. I was planning of having the tanks up and running by today but my Doc sent me to the garage from Tuesday till this arvo to get some tests done. Man i was bored spent most of the time just sitting around trying to sweet talk the nurses into giving me an extra bit of cake for smoko, but all is good with the tests & i did con my Nanna into letting me borrow here laptop (which was built before she was born, well maybe not that old) but crikey it was slow. So i was able to spend some quality time flicking through the pages of this forum. So this weekend and early next week is it, time to get my first stage of the fish room back up and running finally.
Here are some pics of the final paintjob.
    Thanks for looking.
