Walmart sound very good...thanks alot guys..
You should be able to get it at any vietnamese market. It's called thim bo in vietnamese, or I guess you could just ask for beef heart. (I am not vietnamese but my girlfriend is)
Do you have a vine ripe in oc. They have it or just a foreign store.

i don't know if there's any Food4Less markets (a subsidiary of Kroger) in your area, but they do carry nice bh. Or if you go to Smith's Food or Albertsons supermarkets, talk to any butchers and they should be able to order for you, but with large quantity. Lastly, many Hispanic supermarkets do carry bh too. Good luck!
Collin,
WinCo Foods in Pomona should have it already cut into strips and packaged.

Winco in Pomona doesn't carry beef heart. I checked another local Food-4-Less and they don't carry it either. Can one know of a place in Los Angeles/Orange County area that sell beef heart (trimmed preferred). Please provide that address and business phone number if you can. Thanks.
King Ranch Market in Monrovia on West Huntington Dr. (626) 357-5051
I bought 6 lbs of beef heart last Friday.
Thank you for all your locations. I will keep them in mind.
I had to ask the butcher at Winco and he had it in the back but did bring some out and put it on the shelf. It was cut into strips but I had to remove the white stuff from the meat. It may not be out on the shelf. It was over by some of the strange meats that you would not be getting on a normal basis. It was among things that people would consider a "specialty". I got mine at my local Winco so I figured all would carry it since it is the only place I have been able to find it.
i get mine from asian markets, they sell them dirt cheap....they grind it up for me too
