I use the kent garlic extract and the directions on on it. If I recall its 1 drop per teaspoon of food. You don't want to use too much of it.

If you have a few that aren't eatting you can add. 1 drop per 10 gallons directly to the tank.

Oh, They will want it more.! If i recall you can use more than one drop but no more than a few. Its very powerful stuff. I had a discus that would not eat at all, So i tried the garlic extract and WHOA! He came to life eating like a pig. I'd still be using it but somehow my wife broke the bottle all over our refridgerator omg it stunk!. The best of luck

i also used it on a couple of picky eaters and it worked like a charm for me. i used the one drop per 10 gal (6) to a 55 gal . only took about 2 doses before they started eating everything i threw in the tank .

I just add normal garlic powder plus liquid vitamins to the beef heart mixture.

What if it's for fbw and/or dried food? I'm trying to train my wild discus to eat dried pellets and am hoping that soaking the pellets in garlic extract would act as an appetite stimulant/attractant. Aside from Seachem Garlic Guard, any recommendations on what I can use?

experiments were being done 20 yrs ago on the affects of garlic on capillaria and other intestinal parasites. the results were mixed but some believed it was effective, this could be in part why poor eaters after ingesting garlic started eating or eating better.

I have had success with finicky fish on EITHER Seachem GarlicGuard or Seachem Entice, as a food soak or drops onto feed.

I 've used it on freshwater and marines.

YUP! Discus also react to strong olfactory cues.

    Entice smells YUMMY!
It's smells like banana syrup or something like that.

    GarlicGuard smells like...WELL, ROASTED Garlic
