Do we need to feed them daily with bw?

I have my basic diet, thanks to people like Mat, down to Ocean Nutrition Discus Flakes, they love it, and Tetra Crisps or color bits. The fish get that twice a day and eat it all, then get a meat treat like worms and/or Al's beefheart as their main meal. Seems to sowrk well and cleanup is very easy with the daily water change.

I am going just for beef heart mixture plus flakes food for their nutrition values whereas bloodworms have limited nutrition value in them ......just my two cents.

Hi Francis, feeding less does help keep the tank nice and clean like yours are, those daily WC's keep the tanks crystal clear and the fish living better.

Having seen many bloodworm cocoons in ponds, vats, etc, I've maid the decision to never again feed them to discus. My personal decision, as I can't see a way to mass produce the cleanly or clean them for sale!
