You got it abosutely right April its all about the water.Several people who are trying this Gizmo are having problems,and i feel certin there over feeding and poluting the water in the baskets.Thats a good idea to learn with angels before trying Discus.Was nice hearing from you,when you get ready to try the Gizmo let me know and ill be glad to help you get started. most likely as cannot think of anything else.
will the fries starve if the interval is too long before the next eye dropper amt of btb .
what is your longest interval btw feeds that worked, as i have constraints of time unfortunately.

Stanlee like i said before mine go 10 to 12 hrs at night so they go at least that long.Dont over feed just because it longer between feedings.In your other post you said they died off gradually.Im not sure what could be causing that.Ive never had that happen to me.A few always die for what ever the reason,but somethings wrong for them all to die.Let me think about it for a while and see what i can figure out.Ill get back to you ASAP. but for the longer intervals, is it still an eyedropper amount of btb?
Or it should be a bit more?
you haven't given me your opinion on this.
Uncle says the btb doesn't pollute the water even after 12 hours inside the tank cos it is ? protein wrapped .
so pretty confused cos we know that too much uneaten food = pollution and nitrates etc?:

decaps tried before, even the larger fries or other fries also not taking them cos they don't move.

golden pearls, are they from hikari?
may try this , but not sure if available locally.
the composition seems good.
