Whats your favorite size Grow out tank ?

Growing out large numbers of fry, whats your favorite size for 1-7 month old fish.
Curious what others are using.

8 days to 1 month in 10 gal

1 - 2 month in a 30 gal

2 - 7 months I have been using 75 gal tanks, but am considering moving up to 90 or 120.

Pretty much the same but I usually do :

free swimming to about 1 month is 29 with parents

1 month to around 2-2 1/2 inches in 55 and then finish in 125's.

Once they are off the BBS then they get moved to a bigger tank. 40s will be my main stay though. I have 2x 125s and a 55 for the real grow out if the fish make the cut.

Favorite is 36 gal (24 x 24 x 16") 30 fish give or take, until 8 weeks age, then reduce number to 20 for next 4 weeks in same tank or move them into 60 gal tank.

Keepers i move into 120gal 48 x 24 x 24 or 80 gal 48 x 24 x 18" for growout.

I always went 29 to 75. If I was keeping fish to getnew pairs then they would end up in a 120 until paired.

My absolute favorite growout tanks were my 65 wides. 36"x24"x17". Nice deep tank with no center bracing in the middle. I would move fry from the parents into a 10 gal system for several weeks, then moved into the larger 65's. I like the 65's so much because they can be used for almost anything....fry, breeding pair, large fry growout, etc.
