You guys, not sure if the bullet will work but it should. One of you try and see what happens .
All the fish and shrimp is raw. Raw fish can be purchased at the super market so you don't always have to ask for the fish at the counter.
You will find that this food does not foul the water at all. It's a super food and you'll see it if you try it.

Mr. Quad, I tried to stick to the measurements as close as possible. When I was at the grocery store purchasing, I was asking my self the same question.
So this is what I came up with and made a note for myself for the next batch.
For the Tuna and Salmon
1 cup = 1/2lb
1/2 cup = 1/4lb
B&D food processor, $30 from Sears and its an 8 cup model, 450 watts. The tuna is denser then salmon so 1/2 pound is like a cup full, I use 1 lb of salmon to 1/2 lb tuna. fresh is best, the canned has preservatives and is not raw. My fish are eating it better after 4 days, they now know its food. easy on the garlic, one clove is plenty, more then one and you'll smell like an Italian restaurant.
Also, have the fishman remove the skin for you, it'll save money on something they can't eat and just adds to the tank mess.
Mark
Eddie, you stopped adding oatmeal? The pellets compensate for it? Also, I had to grind it for more then 15 to 20 seconds in the food processor, it was to chunky at that point.
Mark
Yes, the pellets compensate for the oatmeal. I found the mix to be better without the oatmeal.
I guess it really depends on the food processor. A 50 watt and a 500 watt will definitely make a difference. At least process it until it becomes a paste. There will still be smell chunks but no worries.
Eddie
I got a 450 watt'r so its good at making paste, about 30 seconds to a minute does it.

hi eddie,
i have a few question..
shrimp - is frozen ok?
mussels - is frozen ok?
liquid vitamins - do you have something specific?
steamed spinach - should i make the whole spinach? or just the leaves or just the stem?
sorry about this eddie, but i am just confused.. thanks again..
marvin
No worries Marvin ask away, it's best to get it right for your fish right.
Shrimp and mussels can be bought frozen but thaw them before you process everything.
liquid multi-vitamins can be any brand but I use Centrum. You can also grind a single vitamin pill but ensure it is ground to a powder. I like the liquid better since it does mix well.
You can steam everything. I am using alot of frozen spinach now and just boiling it. It's much easier.
Eddie
thanks a lot eddie.. i appreciate it..
one more thing though, about the vitamins.. i didn't find any liquid centrum, i did found something but it's all in capsules.. and also, there are different kinds of centrum, which do you use? i want to copy everything that you do.. so that i will get the same result of from you, help me out.. pls?
thanks again..
