I have seen lots of discus related items on ebay... including the earrings. But awh thats so sweet. Chocolates always seem to disappear fast around me.

And, how the hell does a guy know where to find discus ear rings?...

He tells me he googled "discus" & came up with what he called a "junk" shop in the USA. He contacted the owner by email & asked how he could buy a pair. She sells on ebay & told him she would list them as item xyz. So that's what he did. I didn't ask how he got the mouse pads, but expect it was similar.

Says he also found a place to buy a watch, where you send in a picture & they put that picture on the watch. His plan was to get my step daughter to ask me to send her a pic of my fav discus (story being she had a friend who wanted to see an example of a discus). My step daughter talked him out of it, because there was no choice about the watch the picture went on. Only a plain functional men's watch, which she didn't think I'd want to wear. Otherwise, I would also have had a discus watch as another valentines gift. I think I owe my step daughter a big thank you.

But have to say I give him a lot of points for putting such thought into this year's valentines day gifts. I thought it was pretty special he went to the effort of finding these things. We also went out for a nice meal. I wore the earings, which he never expected LOL. He asked me just to wear my normal going out earings next time LOL
