How do I add this new group
I have 4 Discus in a 75g that are 3-5". I also have a group of 5 in my grow out that may be ready to transfer to the 75g.
Should i add them all at once so the new group is less stressed?
Or do I introduce 1 or 2 at a time so I don't freak out the established group?
Finally, how close in size should a group of 9 be to prevent dominance, and feeding issues?
Let me know what's worked for you

Yes. The 75g is 6months+ and the grow out 2 months.

All at once and I have noticed that discus should be similar size in same tank within an inch or so. Just keep up on the w/c's and watch for spikes in ammonia or nitrites as the addition may create a mini cycle until the bio catches up to the load.

Qt them for 6 weeks in their own tank to watch for illness, then add. 2 additions will not make a huge difference to a group of 5. He is adding double the load to the existing system.
