Started a new project for my living room last week so i thought i will share it to all you guys as well.

Bought a tank secondhand with a BTN background in it that i felt i found where cheap, BTN doesn't come cheap i most say.

The choise of Discus i wanted for this project is red/brown fish. so i went for Red covers and Rose red, 7 adults of them to this 500l tank.
    here's a few of them.

Wow, that is definitely going to look amazing! The red is gonna just set that background off! Can't wait to see the pic when everything comes together.

Absolutely gonna look gorgeous! Those are some nice size RRs/RCs too

I went for light color sand, 0.2 -0.8 mm sand, so fine sand its almost impossible for dirt to penetrate, easy to clean become all dirt stays on top of it Thats way i like it

For plants i had a bit of prob to chose what to go for, so for now its just anubias in the tank and i dont think i will have any more plants except some flouting plants, and some Monstera deliciosa that will grow over the tank and just have the roots in to the tank for the nice effect they give and work as a good filter on top of that.

Here is where im at now to day with the project, I really enjoy the tank in the living room i most say. No more TV for me at nights

I'd like to see pix of the Monstera deliciosa rooting in the tank, that would be crazy to see.

Thanks for all your comments Eddie
The monstera is rooting as cuttings now and will take a few weeks before i add it to the tank. i do it in a windows before i add it.
Have a few older photos to share with the same use of monstera....
