Over here in Japan, they are super expensive. I have seen tanks with rays and discus but the rays were small and the discus were really big.

They are big, and not so expensive, around 270 US dollars

Hello from Slovenia! Regarding keeping discus and rays. Rays first need large bottom surface. One problem that people experienced was that discus were picking on rays and rays obvously didnt like it. I recommend you to visit www.aquariumwild-team/forum site, its in slovene and ask there. The main administrator has keept rays.
I have a friend who has a Teacup Ray in with her Discus. The Ray is awesome and now its body alone is about 10 inches in diameter. She is looking for a 150 gal. tank for the Ray, as her 90 Discus tank is too small. She said that Teacup Ray males (I think its the males) stay smaller, but she ended up with a female. I know that her Ray is totally peaceful though and her large, adult Discus pay it no mind. Maybe I can get her to post some pics and give some info on her experience with the Ray. She is an SD member.

Here in taiwan. Most people put rays with Arowanas. and im talking like 2 rays and 1 arowana in a 300G tank.
totalling about 2500 USD for the fish.
mind you they don't do huge daily water changes.. woot.

Hey Connie!!
I will post some pic's later on tonight when I get home from work. My Sting Ray is a tea cup, she is awesome!!!! I was hoping to get a male tea cup as they are normally smaller than the females. The tea cups tend to grow anywhere from 12" - 14" inches. So mine is almost fully matured. I feed her mostly live Blk worms but also the frozen stuff too. She definetly prefers the live food that's for sure..
As far as her getting along with my discus, I got her when she was only a 2.5inch little baby. She is now approx 10". She has grown up with my Discus in the tank, they do not bother each other at all. My discus are all between 6 to 8 inches. They are amazing to watch together.
Cancer Survivor..... Glad to be finally free!!!!!
Hey T, I can't wait to see Stevie Ray in person! Soon! Your pics on Bidka were great. I guess those are the one's you'll post later on?
