Oh, it died in the tanks. They kept him for sale at 1000 dollars and nobody even looked at it for that price. Its too bad, he was nice.

Just degraded daily in the tank. Every few weeks I'd stop by and see it looking worse and worse until it was just gone. Lost all color, dark and clamped fins, hiding in the corner, painful to see really.

this just plain sucks!!! and sadly is the attitude most lfs I have encountered will take. about a year ago I went in a pretty nice little new lfs. they had 200 watt heaters on sale for $45 each when I asked them why was the price so high they replied If we cant get that much for it. it can sit there! and sit there it did untill they cleaned all the shelves when they closed down!! it took about 9 mos.
