    My tds meter was 30 bucks. It works just fine. Check ebay, They have TONS..

    I use a pinpoint micro S meter. It is on 24/7 with the power adapter. My Micro is around 150 atm. They do sell 5 in 1 test strips. That would have KH reading on there along with other important water tests. GL
