    Default Spray bars positioning

I am setting a 90G planted discus tank with two canister filters. I'm planning to have two spray bars at the back of the tank. I found out that discus don't like too much water movement.

For this reason would you place the spray bars below the water level so that the spray bar is completely under water to maybe reduce some movement? If so, how much below the water level?

You can, and you can drill larger holes in the spray bar so the flow is not as strong.
