Default How long to remove Medications

2 Days ago I used Quick Cure on my fish to help remove ick. About a day after I added the Quick Cure(yesterday) I did a 70% water change. Today I added carbon to remove the rest of the Quck Cure. How long should it take for the Quick Cure to be fully removed? I do not know exactly how much carbon I have added but I am just looking for a rough estimate.

If you did only one treatment of the QC then you didn't get rid of the Ich. The repeat on QC is every 24 hours for 3 days; ideally with a water change between doses.

Then there should be a heavy water change and the protocol repeated.

Understanding the life cycle of ich will show the need for the 2nd round.

There is also no real need for the AC as the water changes and the organics in the system will neutralize out the formalin and malachite green
