Can i ask if anyone would mind if i posted all the pictures on a single page on my website , my website is non profit , anyone can access and what i aim to do is eventially detail where the strains originated. If allowed and all the owners agree to allowing me i will galdly add there details to the images.

i wouldn't have a problem with it but you would need to get the permission of every owner pic like i did. Well, most of them i asked permission for, some i couldn't find the owner since they came from google. Good luck with the project, it took me months.

unfortunately not. The ones that have names on them you can definitely contact via pm here on SD. Only the ones that are from google that i couldn't find the originating source for do not have names.

Some great strains that has helped alot but i have now made my mind up that i much like the wild natural forms better.
Or maybe some hybrids crossed from wilds may be my cup of tea in the long run.
Thanks for a very good thread maybe one on wilds could be useful.

i'm glad this thread still gets viewed :-). I'm sure i could add probably like another 100 pics of strains since i've been out of the discus game but the asking for permission from different people is quite tedious.

there are some really beautiful fish on this feed! I have 3 discus at the moment. a yellow diamond, a red map and a red melon. i only keep them for fun so they are not show fish by any stretch of the imagination but i love them to bits! my red map is very peppered, but the colouring of the pepper against the yellow and red is just fantastic. he is by far my favourite! but now having seen some of the variations available i think i am going to have to invest in some more! fantastic feed! thanks so much! x

They're posted originally on Tony's website (http://www.mrdiscus.com/id66.html, second row of pics). Not sure if it is more due to the light that makes the color so intense though ...
