yes, sometimes when the package stay too long in my freezer, there were part that will cover with ice, same thing happend to your meat when they stay too long in freezer and exposed. The colour of these area sort of washout not as red as some others part.

Ah, I see. Personally I would not use those. Sounds like you need to wrap it and seal it a little better in the freezer.

Actually the opposite. if you get frost its because there was air, and moisture, in the bag. When I open a new package of FBW in a sheet form, I leave the bag open so air can not get trapped IN, with the moisture. Try it once you'll be amazed. Yes, I learned this by accident but was glad of the results, and by the way, Tupperware is worse then plastic bags.
