Hi,
I'm in the process of setting up a planted Discus aquarium.
I would like to know what types of light tubes are best?
I have a 4 foot Arcadia Luminaire, which can have up to 4 tubes.
What tubes are best to use and how many?
I don't want to stress my Discus with too much light but would like good growth from my plants.

i would say a combo of 6700k/10000k would work well for you with addition of a moonlight. I am currently using a compact fluor and am happy, the t-5 lights are also very popular. Wattage and lumens will depend on the type of plants you want to keep.
