Every now and then I get a little bored so while looking for something different, I picked up this Blue Diamond Bulldog Pair from Discus Madness. Some may have seen these pics before in another post. The first two pics are without a flash and the third is with a flash. In my opinion they look odd but nice.
Bob
Nice Bulldog discus,,will try to get pictures of mine..One pair is with fry and would like not to disturb them, but I have to get pictures of them with fry soon.
damn..those fatties...linebackers
Here is one of my home bred high body/ bulldog. I usually get a few of these in each spawn. I culled the extreme looking ones (with compressed spines). I like the subtle hint of bulldog type.

Jesus Derek, those tiger PBs are so insanely beautiful. I would love one just like that!

Isn't bulldog essentially just a form of a high-bodied fish?

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sage thicket.
Killer fish Derek! Eye to body ratio is extremely good! Awesome work
Eddie
Derek, they look fantastic. more pic please

Derek,,do not cull the bulldog fry..I will buy them for a fair price...Instead of culling them you can make some money...Let me know your future intentions so we can corrispond an arrangement..Thanks, Vince
I want some too. Let me know Derek but at smaller size

Thanks, Jason, but that one is not for sale. She is my future breeder.
Set up another tank and when she have babies, I'll write your name on them.
Thank you bro Eddie.
Thanks, Hendri. I don't want to hog the thread. More people will post their fish soon.
Thanks moik, but I don't think, we as breeders, should emphasized on this mutation. I think the discus is an elegant and regal fish and should be kept that way. Anything to enhance these attributes should be inbred into them, but with extremely compressed spines and face is not one of them....my opinion anyway. Where are you located? The shipping cost is insanely expensive.

Derek,I live on the east coast. Pennsylvania, shipping cost is not too bad..got several shipments from Kenny already over the years and shipping is reasonable...I am interersted in these for a cross into other strains plus I for one love the bulldog style of discus. As long as they are not the REAL extreme ones that look like they have no tails.Let me see what you have and can strike a deal then go from there. Please PM your e-mail adress and we can veiw pictures of what you have.. Thanks for replying

Here are my pair of Bulldog Pigeons with fry on the come..Since then the fry have attached and growing..Will get more pictures of the other Bulldog Pigeons. These are pretty much very high body pigeons with a little bulldog expression to them..You can also see the foam divider in the one picture (first and second picture)..On the other side of the foam is the rest of my bulldog collection (third picture)..This pairs has laid eggs, and are raising fry in the same community tank with thew rest of the bulldogs on the other side of the foam divider..
