Is this in a terrarium? It looks likes hardwater stains on glass? Or is it just dried hardwater on the leaves?

Thank you. Good morning Al. It's not in a terrarium, it's in my living room. I used to use purified water to water and mist my plants, which is why I have hard water stains on the leafs. For that reason I switched to distilled water for my houseplants.Is this in a terrarium? It looks likes hardwater stains on glass? Or is it just dried hardwater on the leaves?
