Safe and PP

Hi Everyone. I will be treating my tank with PP today and I have a question regarding the use of Safe, which I recently switched to from Prime.

I did my last water change about 20 hours ago and added the appropriate amount of Safe. How long do I need to wait to begin the PP treatment to avoid any residual safe de-activating my PP?

You should be able to add it now. Usually I do a water change the night before and add PP the following day. Seachem claims Prime/Safe last "24 - 48 hours" and will continue to bind ammonia/nitrite for that length of time. Try a little PP and if it instantly neutralizes (goes brown) you'll have your answer.
