Wild heckels are such a challenge. I have to hand it to you all....it takes a lot of skill to keep heckel.

Here's my tank. Heckel are now eating. Third day of metro and prazi. Added Roobios tea and remove plants and Cattapa leaves.

While I do consider heckels the hardest of the wilds to keep well you might consider reading up for quarantining new arrivals be it heckels or any other fish. It will saving you lots of hassle and possible lost/sick fish. Really glad to hear things are going better for you and the fish.
