My Christmas came early.....just this afternoon in fact. These are a cross between a Wild Lago Solomon and old school Red Turq. Check the link for pictures of the parents.

Back to Discus grin:
Thanks Hendri, that was literally just as I dropped them into the tank. Now they are woofing down Australian Black Worms like it was their last meal!!!
Not sure how they will turn out but I am VERY excited to find out. Hopefully they will carry alot of the male (lago solomon) traits! Love his deep red and orange brown base.
Eddie
Wow Eddie, they are gorgeous! I see some immense potential, can't wait to see the pics of them a few months from now. Congratz!
Nice shapes to those new fish of your! The parents are beautiful. mike
they look real nice and healthy, good luck with them.
Looking good Eddie! Those are gonna turn out sweet!. I love the pic of the parents. I am a sucker for that black band that runs thru the top and bottom fins with the red edging. Old school for sure. Enjoy them!...Bill
Dad is one beautiful amazonian discus! Wouldn't mind having a tank of those wilds! First time I've heard of Lago Solomon though
Congrats Eddie!

When science and magic collide, the story begins.
Real beauties Eddie! How far did they have to travel to reach you? They sure look good right after their trip! I am sure they have helped soften the blow of not getting that huge tank last week! Enjoy your newest babies!

Beautiful red eyes, shape and colour...
Seems like they will get the best of both parents, can't wait to see them when they've fully 'blossomed'.
