    Kenny,

There area always some great deals this way given That Pet Place is so close. I will keep an eye on Harrisburg Craigslist and if you do the same. I can always mediate and store to make the trip worth it. Some offer more than just the tank and haven't included dimensions...sorry.

Thanks Dave,David and Marc. What I am hoping to find is a special that some suppliers offer from time to time at $1 per gal on the 75's and smaller. Hans has way more money then I do, he can afford glass cages.

Might call Glasscages, ask for a quote. That's a lot of tanks, so they might discount the deal substantially. Their delivery schedule puts them in your neighborhood March 20...

Or not... dunno... never done business with 'em...

thanks all, so far it is looking like That Fish Place has the best pricing. 75's for $121. Rumor has it that they have a yearly sale on tanks which should be coming up soon. I am waiting on that to see before i decide. I may have to nix the 100's since they are hard to find and expensive if available and just do all 75's.

Good prices from those guys- must be nice to be near their retail store. 75's are definitely the sweet spot for price vs capacity...

I saw brand new 75's for $89 each around the holidays at a LFS in Marietta, GA. I don't recall the store name, but could find out. It doesn't help you in Philly, but at least you know that $89 is not "impossible".

I'd call around and tell em' how many you need, and you're willing to "fill in the blank" (pay cash, make a 50% deposit, etc.). What's their best deal? Can't hurt.

checked that out. price is a bit too high. i can buy new tanks for $1.25 (maybe cheaper)per gal and not have to sterilize them. I already have the drilling down, so that is no sweat.

It has been awhile since i was looking for a bulk tank order. years ago 100's were readily available at reasonable prices. 75's will be fine and dimensionally they will work out perfect with my 25's. I will just get a few more.

    Kenny,

I was very lucky to find a local tank manufacturer near me (Los Angeles). The company makes VISIO aquariums. At $1 per gallon, I was able to outfit my fish room with nine 60 gallon tanks and seventeen 29 gallon tanks for just over $1000. The sumps that I use (125 gallon tanks) were easily found on ebay. I was able to haggle them down to right around $100 each.

All that being said, try and find a local manufacturer and buy bulk. You SHOULD be able to score a similar deal! The nice thing about this is that all the tanks are NEW! No worries about leakes or anything.

    Best wishes my friend!

Hey Kenny. That Pet Place has a large clearance room of tanks off of their main wharehouse. I was there a few months ago and the prices were great but not advertised. If I had a larger vehicle Im sure I would have left with several tanks. Perhaps someone in the area can scope it out for you and let you know if its worth the drive.

Thanks Chad. I have tried to find a local aquarium manufacturer, seems like glass cages has most in there territory. Cal is a lot more centralized them us east coasters. I hope i can find what i am looking for at a decent price. $125 is ridicules for 75's. It is not like i want 1 I would hope to find 10 for $100 ea.

Hey Bob, i was looking at that fish place's pricing online. Vlam has told me they have a yearly sale on tanks which is coming up soon. If so i will take the work cube truck up and load up. I will let you know if it happens, maybe i could pick some up for you? I know you say no more tanks, but for the right price you may change your mind
