Yeah, I've got to power feed these little ones, they have a month to get beefed up before they go into the 55 gal with the other three. And of course Kenny has WB's this shipment, but no more fish for me 'till summertime.

I have to agree with everyone on this. I received my freebie sample last week and the fish just devoured the worms. No hesitation whatsoever, I honestly believe they like it better than the FBW. Needless to say I placed an order today. Thanks for the sample Mal.

Anyone know approximately how many cubes come with a 200gram package ?

I have about 50 fishes and want to know fast they will consume one 200gram package. I plan to feed once a day for my fishes. I received a small sample from Mal but I forgot to count the # of cubes in that package. I assume it's a 10gram package. My fishes finished that in a few days.

I agree with most of you that the cube version is the way to go. It does stick to the glass wall pretty good .. until they fish ATTACK it and tear it apart. Now that everytime I come close to the tank ..they all float to the top assuming I am going to feed them.

LOL, who counts the cubes in a bag................................opps that would be me. I told Mal I was planning on giving out some samples at our local meeting that was this last Sunday. When I placed my last order with him he sent me 100 grams cubed to give to the club members. I counted the cubes to get an idea of how many sample bags I could hand out. 100 grams came out to about 280 cubes. I added 20 of mine to come up with 300 or 20 bags of 15 cubes each.

Just wanted to share. I have been grinding the loose worms in the coffee grinder until its a powder and feeding my 12 day old fry with it. THEY LOVE IT!!! They are constantly searching for more!

I don't drink coffee but may just have to buy a coffee grinder anyway. Great idea Eddie. Thanks.

I used to use the grinder for coffee beans a long time ago but upgraded to a Jura Cappresso machine that has a built-in burr grinder. So I now put the old grinder to good use. The little buggers love Mal's powdered blackworms!

    Take care,

What, an American that doesn't drink coffee, get out with you.

Eddie, how did you get the powder down to the fry?

Hey there Mal, I just take pinch of the powder, dip my fingertips into the water and rub them together, it all falls on top of the fry. I'll try to get a video of it later, if I can get my daughter to hold the camera steady! They absolutely LOVE the stuff. As they get bigger, I plan to keep them on the ground up worms but just reduce the amount of time I grind the worms, so the pieces will gradually stay larger for them.

LOL Mal, I see a new version coming. Along with the suggestion for different size cubes you can now add ground up worms.
