    Default Update 2/12

Hi Ya'll! I humbly apologize for not being able to post for a few weeks but I've been out of town. I got home yesterday to find the contest tank rather dirty and a lot of algae but the fish are in great shape and the water parameters were perfect. Thanks to my lovely bride Rochelle for keeping a close eye on everyone!

I took out the piece of driftwwod, it was covered in algae, and I may take out the potted plants as well. They just don't seem to be doing that great and I don't want to change anything in the chemistry or lights. This tank is about the discus.

Feeding 6 times a day with beefheart mix, fbw, ON prime reef flake and tetra color bits. 50% water change once a day.

They really look fat and happy! And I can tell there was a little growth while I was away.

    It's good to be back!

Steve, you should enter some of them in the NADA show. They are fantastic!

Hi Steve, glad you are back home.
I agree with everyone, they are, amazing, awesome, show quality discus. Great job you are doing with your group.
Some of those guys are really showing a nice color pattern developing all over their body, quite a variety. They do look great.
    Take care

    Thanks for the feedback everyone!!!
Eddie, that has become my favorite one of the group. About the third biggest but he has the best shape. That pic dosen't do him justice. Really a nice fish.

Fish look great Steve, You really are doing a great job. I think im partial to the solid looking one. Very healthy. Always nice to see. Hope to see everyone at the show. Booking my room in the next few days. John, side note here. If folks are bringing fish for the show can we ship the night before or that day? Airport to Airport or something? Thx Ed

Shipping overnight delivery to the hotel will be no problem at all. We will gladly put them in the tanks and clean our hands in between fish. I think airport to airport might work out if I can find enough help. My only concern is that I might be a little bit busy at that time. My guess is that it would be ok, but I don't want to commit to that 100% just yet.

P.S. How many fish you sending in?
