Happy New Year! Its been a long time since i posted and visited this wonderful website. Anyway, i have an added addiction its called watching the "the adventure of Merlin", it's a UK tv series. So anyone into it? any fanatic here?

I have watched the first 2 seasons of merlin. I like the concept, but it is pretty low budget.

Yes, I must admit that I'm addicted to anything Merlin, King Arthur, medieval time period etc. I've watched both seasons and hope to see it continue here in the U.S.

How do you feel about the changes in story lines such as Gwen and Morgana roles?

Wow, this is ironic....kinda scary really. I've been watching the first 2 seasons lately....didn't realize i'd find a thread on it on Simply!

I really enjoy it. I, like David, like anything to do with that time frame. I hope it continues as well.

I've read most of the "Arthurian" books and seen all the movies and am a big fan.
They already made some major changes to the original versions when they made Morgana into a house guest instead of Arthurs unknown half sister who tricked Arthur into incest and gave birth to his only son, Mordred. So I was expecting Morgana to somehow show a dark side eventually.
Again with the major make over by casting Gwenavier as a serving girl instead of Royalty, but even so, what else could her caracter do but become Arthurs love interest, with a twist.
And Uther is supposed to be dead, having been killed soon after siring Arthur, so that could go anywhere.
All in all it's a great showI think.
