I also noticed the same thing. I called customer service and they confirmed that it is the Hagen Aquaclear.

Awesome thanks for the follow-up. I did the same thing and they mentioned it might not come with the same bio media. At this price it's a no brainer as the bio media is pretty cheap.

aquaclear are like the best hob around. you can costumize your media you can put anything in it that fits. just cut the foams pads or whatever to the size you want. i think only thing the deal doesnt come with is the biomax but you can get it at your local fish store.

Do you think this would be good for my 40gal tank? I have a cheap petco brand filter that's breaking apart on me. It rattles pretty loud every so often and I use zip ties to hold the tubes together
