wont really be much of contest Moon this my 2nd batch that trying to grow out. My first batch of 6 was satisfactory my biggest one is 5/5.5 inch maybe tail included. They were a Turq cross and WC Royal Blue that i got from the Menagerie pet shop downtown toronto. only 2 grew to a decent size rest were lovely little runts . I will try though as want nice big Discus specially this kind. RT with the black halo color fin cant wait. Will try to do a montly update if dont kill them hehe.

I had the pleasure of seeing many of his fish at Duisburg, they are quite simply the best red turks imo. Good luck with them, both of you

Update time so its been a month and i havent killed them yet haha go me. Anyways these group is not fed beefheart as they are in small tank atm.I dont want to deal with water issues as im at work most of the day.

I feed them 4 times a day with ON Flakes 5 different kind mix together. Mals BW twice a day and also 50% WC daily. I only noticed maybe half inch of growth on few fish majority managed to push 1 inch of growth. So far im very happy with the results . In few days i will move them to a bigger tank and i can maybe get some BH/Seafood mix to feed.

Mine are about 2.0 to 2.5" and doing well. They are starting to show some slight striations on the dorsal area.

So you also must have seen, some of this stock isn't that good at all.
Piwowarski has really several grades of quality and you have to look out carefully to take out the best.
