Barb's cones: new batch of wrigglers!

I think this must be the largest batch of wrigglers for this pair. Dad is really stepping up to take care of the spawn letting Mom have a break.










ALSO.... I think I have the first batch of fry that spawned on Barb's cones that are going on six weeks now of free swimming. I'll have some shots of them in a couple of days.

Thanks Larry....So far I've tried Cyclops-eze, Golden Pearls, frozen BBS and live BBS to start. I personally like live BBS the best to start with and introduce other foods in the starting in at 2-3 weeks.

How do you make live BBS .. when do you feed live BBS ?

I've tried feeding live as soon as on the third or fourth day of free-swimming, but my fry haven't started to feed on it until around day seven.

What a great sight to see David! I am so happy to get to see discus actually spawning on and having fry on the cones I made. Very exciting. Thanks so much for letting us see them and best of luck with this spawn. I'm looking forward to seeing the 6 week old fry.
