Is it just me, or do any of you also feel that no matter how colorful and fancy bred discus get, the wild caught stuff is always just as spectacular?

I agree with that. The parents are great and the little guys look amazing.

Thank you guys, I am very proud of them so far, the difficult part is still to comme thou. I want to grow them to adults, hopefully in 12 to 16 months.
I feed them 3 times everyday and they get 100% WC during the day....
There is still 32 juveniles but I think there is 20-24 good ones.
I noticed you had decor in that tank. I guess it wasn't bare bottom. Your reds would give any domestic Melon a run for the money!
I do have a dekor in the tank to hide away peat and teknology.
The tank is barebottom.....
Beautiful colors and shape !
how big was the spawn?
Natalia
We're here for a good time...not a long time..
I´ve had problems with the hatching, I´ve tried diffrent pH and diffrent microsiemens but never had more than 50 % to hatch.
Usually the spawn 150-200 eggs...
They are AMAZING! great work. i wish you much luck. Your photography is awesome too. Keep posting updates, i would love to see how they mature.
