Good question How about Hans again Only joking, Hans would be too busy with the Stendkers and wilds. Hmm, would be interesting to see who though.
So...with all the talk about these fish lately, it begs the question...who is importing them into the US? Anyone have them?

simple ideas are the ones that works best
"The only thing that breeds true in humanity, is Stupidity"
As April and Mathao has highlighted, Vlad & Antoaneta breeds the Alexander Piwowarski Red Turquoises, they are located at Montreal Canada. They do ship to USA, so long as you have a permit and willing to sign some documents They can be reached at this number, 514 262 3494. Its a good opportunity to get some good bloodline at a stealing price!
Edit: The people at USA that has them are probably just juveniles, so...not much help if you want to get some juveniles aswell, unless off course you wait for the right time.

Thanks everyone for all the replies. SO from what I gather, no one is selling them in the US...and importing them from Canada or Germany require proper paperwork...who has an import license?
I must say that with such a bloodline and mistique I am very surprised these fish are yet not available here in the US, maybe someone should take the initiative..wink wink...

Rod, Check with "Jolly Guy" Alok. He went to Canada and bought 12 of them.. He is VERY busy changing water, growing them out :0)
I found the link: http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=79141
However, the member's fish will not be ready for any breeding activity for possibly another year or with any luck a little sooner.
Hope this helps,
...Ralph
Rod, I might be mistaken but from my research and talking to people that have brought in wilds specifically from Oliver in Canada, you do not have to have an import license if the fish are for your personal use. If you intend to bring more in to sell then a license is required. Again, not 100% sure, but I believe that is how it goes. Still takes some paper work and i'm sure some visits to the airport and fish & wildlife but shouldn't need a license.
Wish someone was bringing them in, or I had a closer designated port of entry.

Yes, I do have 12 juvies, got them from Vlad in April. They are just 4 months old now. Regarding paperwork, if you are going to drive to Canada and bring them back, it is minimal and very easy process. If you want to bring them through an airport, then Ashay is the best person to talk to. I believe he started a thread about it somewhere on this site.

Thanks Matt, that was the one I was talking about.
Very good info indeed! I will look into it, maybe I can bring some from Germany in...lets get the Google translator working!
