Not mine, but only because I can see the black rim of the tank. I think I need a new tripod, mine has developed a slight lean to it. Or maybe its my hand...who knows.

    Thanks!

What type of camera are you using and what settings do you have it set at? Flash or not flash and what lighting in the tank when you snap a picture?

I have an olympus E-410 and really seem to struggle getting decent pics......

I use a Canon 5D Mark II on full maunal mode. I usually use 2 slave flashes above the tank, but right now i am out of batteries so I am using 1 master flash on the camera, and 1 over the tank. The one on the camera triggers the one above the tank. Really depends on the lens as to my settings.

The lighting over the tank is a single T-5 strip with a Colormax bulb.

VERY good signs out of my fishroom tonight! My Alenquer crosses are both shaking and cleaning the cone FURIOUSLY. I could not figure out what the sound was, and I look over to see them both cleaning the cone so hard its bumping around the tank. They must really be ready...

This is the first real good sign that my eye and total guess to a Male/Female from Forrest and Kenny's pics were spot on. Still waiting to see them lay, but right now its looking great. I expect eggs very soon. Been conditioning them with live misquito larva, freeze dried blackworms soaked in Pro-More, and some color bits. They've really taken to the blackworms with Pro-More.....much more then just the plain blackworms. Also water changes about every other day.

    I'll keep you posted!

Well that was very early morning last night, left the light on and went to bed. Woke up to nothing on the cone. Hopefully they are still in the mood and put some down today.

Vera, I do think they will have some black rim to them. At least the suspected female should.

Thanks Vera, unfortunently nothing. However I really havn't given them space to continue, see this thread http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=81880. Gotta get that dealt with before anything.
