Alum Angel
Who has Altum angel and were to buy Altums. I really dont want to get look alike angels. I live in MA and I am planning on buying a dozen young ones.

i dont think john (snookin21) have altums. he has wild scalares that are called altums peruvians. but those are not true altums. but as someone mentioned dan a sponsor here had them. i believe he sold out already. might have to wait till he gets a 2nd batch or contact him and ask.

Darrell, those arent the true altum angelfish. They are peruvian angelfish that are sometimes called peruvian altums and peruvian scalare. Either way, both angelfish are gorgeous....http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/aucti...ish&1282669224

My LFS here in Orange County CA had true altum angelfish but are sold out now. They should be getting another shipment in a week or so.

I think John (snookn21) may be getting true altums tomorrow, according to one of his posts on MonsterFishKeepers. They can be a bit touchy when they're first imported, though. Everyone should keep that in mind.
