    Default Black dots??

    I just noticed some new Very small Black dots on the left side of my blue diamond Is it debri/dirt or is there a black spot skin problem or somthing?

    Can you get a picture, most likely just a pigment issue.

    Sounds like a pigment issue, with Koi we call this a shimmy..not sure what it is called with discus...pepper?

    it is called peppering, but not common in the blue strains. I have only heard of black spot as a disease in marine fish

    Older Blue Diamonds can develop black specks, not an issue.

    I have that on my pair also, female has 2 and male only one. They are about 2mm wide and round.

    Like Eddie says some older BD will develop some black spots . I have encountered that with some of mine.
