Default 1" Hole in 110G Tank ok for Overflow?

    Setting up a Discus display tank with a wet/dry sump for the filtration. The tank is 4' x 2' x 2.5', 110g (450L).
I was wondering if a 1" overflow, drilled in the back wall, is big enough?

1" inner diameter? Or 1" outer diameter?
