Default 5 X Discus not eating

I have 5 Discus in the QT tank that are not eating. I rescued them from a breeder that had lost interest, Im not an expert so I am now thinking it wasnt such a good idea. They are very thin and had fin rot. The fin rot is almost gone but Ive not seen them eat a single crumb.
Ive tried frozen blood worm, Frozen blood work with garlic, Beef heart, Tetra prima, Tetra pro but they are not interested at all.
Ive add salt when doing water changes, Ive dosed the tank with esha hexamita and eSHa Minaroll - Trace elements, Vitamins and Minerals too. Where do I go from here?

Hmm, saving sick fish is definitely not a good idea. Especially if you already have existing fish, big no no. Definitely follow some strict quarantine guidelines or your other stock will feel the pain.

Since you already started treatment with Esha Hex, continue with that treatment. The amount of time is up to you but if the fish are in bad shape, I'd go 5-7 days. Just my opinion. Make sure you keep the tank spotless, vacumming feces constantly.

I really regret doing it now. Some good news and bad news. 2 have died but I could see it coming as they were wafer thin. 2 are eating better now bu one is bent, Imagine looking at it from the top, its head is over to the right.

It was ok earlier, This happened in the past few hours. I am thinking the only way to help this one it to give it the alka seltzer treatment

I tell you what bill palumbo would tell you. Put it in a bag and slam it on the floor. there, I said it.

Yup and make sure you clean your hands well if you've touched the water or anything that fish came in contact with.

There are more humane ways of culling, IMO. I use a few drops of clove oil in some water.

I would dump all the fish that you got from this person. Just not worth the hassle.

You should post your method here for the OP to see. I've used the freezer method before and after having done that Maybe that was not the best. I prolonged the suffering.
