    They have been around for a while. You do have to take precaution and keep things clean. Same way you would take precautions with canister filter or substrate for example.

    I have two Koralia circulation pumps behind my background to prevent any unwanted "deposits".

    Thank you for the compliment. I probably would have gone with a single strain, but with my wife and kids in the mix, picking and choosing too, it quickly became apparent we were going to have a variety! So, I have the Heinz 57 mix thing going on. Ah well. If the family is happy... Perhaps waaay down the road I'll change things up. But for now, that's how I roll.
