those are some nice fish!
I came home this evening to find two Albino Blue Diamonds from my stable of 15 guarding a cone and keeping the other 13 away. Upon taking closer look it seems that the two have paired up and laid eggs which I was not expecting yet since the group is only approximately 10 months old. I was going to cage the cone just to see if they would turn to wigglers but then realized that I have bristlenose in the tank that would surely get to the eggs. My main goal is to confirm the pair so I moved them to a breeder tank along with the cone and the male is still intent on guarding them. I would be happy to get just one wiggler out of this so I know in fact that they are a male and female. I put the cage around the cone and we should know in less then three days.
Below are two quick pics I took of them in the breeder with the cone. Sorry for the poor pics but I wanted to do it quick as not to disturb them.

Jennie,
Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten
Congats Bob. I know you have been wanting this for a long time. Hope you get some wigglers.

Nice fish Bob!
Grats on your upcoming success. Where did you get them from? I am looking for a pair of blue diamonds. If all goes well, ship to Chicago, Lol.

Congrats bob, those look great. Does the one in the bottom picture really have a yellow hue on its sides like that?

Mark and DiscusLover 65, thanks for the positive comments.
Jeff I received 15 of these in March from Kenny and Mike Beals (Central Ohio Discus).
Matt that would be the Male and he was white as can be until this spawn came about. Now he does have a very light orange tint on its side.
Bob
Wow, they are young and breeding already, nice job Bob.
I hope you keep us posted as to their progress.
