    Came across this pict on net , im not in to cats , but these cuties melted my heart
    do u think thats a real color or photoshopped

    I am into cats but never heard of those. They are siamese/snowshoe mixed though. The latest creation I think and recognized is the Toyger

    here's a cutie that will melt your heart. My persian Higgins.

    No, I don't. If I did, I couldn't sell of any of them. This guy is a creation from a breeder trying to refine the doll face in the persian, the way she sees it. good job I think. Here he is today.

    The other cat is mixed. I fostered for a cat rescue so that is how some of my other cats came to live with me

    Persian cats are everywhere here. Yes that is Higgins today. 1 year old, 6lbs. They have persians there where you live, yes???

    Oh i c , thought there is another reason for not a big demand on Persians
    Mr Higgins looks fab!!

    I live in Malta and ppl just love getting Persians , not sure if there many breeders locally , just know that most order their pets from abroad , dont know still how pets like that survive the summer heat 35C over 3 months tho' , but what the heck it became very popular here to keep even Husky LOL(image from net)

    we shave the hair off his belly where it is thickest. he sleeps on tile allot in summer. he never gets hot

    any pictures of him shaved ?Persians look almost like lions when shaved btw the hair doesnt get thicker where its shaved?

    I have never shaved him completely(lion cut) not fond of it. His hair is thickest on his belly and knots up so we shave that 2x a year. The rest is easy to maintain.
