how big do angels get? i have three pairs rite now and they are about 2 to 3 inches body length. they have been laying eggs every two weeks for a month now, but the eggs don't hatch cause i have fast water current in the tank and hard water.

They can get quite large I've posted some pics of scalares I had, the discus on the left of pic 1 was more than 7" SL so it gives you some idea how big they can get. The angels were F1 scalares.

Silver/black would be a decent description, they look scalare based.
