Well it is a work in progress but so far here are some pics of my new 85 gallon. I will be moving my discus over on Sunday. Let me know what you think!

    Jennie,

Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten

The tank looks very interesting. I wish Fluval sold those tanks here in the States. I don't think there is all that much to choose from in terms of tanks and ready made stands here.

    Hey Faydra,

I second all the above. Great job
You and hubby should get many hours of enjoyment each and every day once Discus are in.

love the tank but I think the background is to distracting. I think the discus colors will show better with a solid color, but thats just mho.

Hi Faydra, Is your tank a Fluval "Profile" series (which apparently replaced their Osaka line) ?
May I ask the cost ?

Very nice Faydra, much easier then refurbishing a older tank.

I actually kind of agree with you but I wasn't able to find a plain background in 24" high. I actually wanted to paint it a solid green but my husband doesn't like the plain backgrounds. Oh well, the tank is full of water so its too late now!

I don't think so. I got that driftwood online from Big Al.

Well all my babies are in their new home and all are doing extremely well. They were exploring and eating bloodworms within 20 minutes! Their colors are bright and I think I might see little smiles on their faces....

Tank looks great. Agree with others about the background, but that's personal preference. I'm not 100% sure, but the plants on the right look like bog plants which would eventually melt if submerged completely too long. I'd keep an eye on it if I were you. I really like how you've used them to accentuate the wood however.
