Thanks everyone for the kind comments. It's taken me alittle while to get the pictures downsized to fit on here. I'm not that great with a computer. The fishroom has changed alittle bit since those pictures. I have turned a couple of the 29's around and put in some f1 Pelvicachromis's and some latacara curviceps in them. I haven't had any luck with the discus breeding. I want my 4 year old to get involved, and whats a better way of doing that than having some babies to watch grow up. Thats why I bought the other fish.

    Martha, and Scott.

I didn't plumb the sink in myself, I helped my friend do it. This fishroom is in the garage, so I had to tap into the hot and cold lines that are going to my kitchen sink. I was able to tie the drain into the main drain of the house that's in the crawl space under the kitchen. I use my sink everyday when I am syphoning out the large tanks and also draining out the smaller ones. I only have the larger tanks drilled half way up the tank. I wanted to control the draining myself on the breeding tanks (in case I get fry). The room also has its own heating zone, kept at 80 degrees.

    Thank you again,
    Patrick

Beautiful setup Patrick. Organized, clean and well thought out. I have the same issues with the few breeders I have. Plenty of eggs but only wigglers a couple of times. Talk to you at Als next wk

    Brian,

It will be great seeing you again. I have a 5gal. tank setup in the family room with some baby latacara's. I hope to have some discus fry in the near future. I changed my water perameters, and now there's a couple of pairs staring and pecking at the cones. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Having been to Patricks a few times I can honestly say ....Patrick's Fishroom is Everything Mine isn't LOL>.. Its Neat, organized, well thought out, and has room to expand his stock... totally the opposite of "ordered Chaos" that mine is!
    He definitely did it right!

    Thanks Buddy,

I would trade my fishroom for your ordered chaos any day. Remember that your fishroom comes with an unbelievable discus stock, that most would kill for...

See you on Saturday. How are my lttle babies doing? I have their tank waiting for them.

I think I pushed my wife way past her limit. If she had it her way, I would only have one tank. She only alowed me to have a 20 gal in the den, and I just snuck the rest of them in. If I told her that I was going to shut down the room tomorrow, I don't think she would try to talk me out of it. She knows that I really want this hobby to be something that I can do with my two little girls.

Thanks again for the kind comments.

    Joe,

I used 3/4" bulkheads. I ordered them from Jehmco.

    David,

Buddy you were missed yesterday. Last night I brought home the Albino Eruption Intermediates, And a beautiful round Alenquer/snake. I'll help with the fishroom, just let me know when your ready.
