White butterfly X ???

Dear all,

I need some experience and opinions from you. I want to outcross my white butterfly but can't find another suitable white butterfly from my area. Some of the possible discus i can get my hands on or have on hand are:

Red melon
San merah
Blue diamonds
Yellow pigeon
Carnation turqs
Golden albino
Red diamond
Red Golden Diamond

My aim is to obtain a good percentage of white butterflies with minimal peppering. Let me know if there are other suitable strains of discus too.

You may not get a large percentage of WB but you'll get a higher percentage with this cross than with any of the others I would imagine.

Hi bro Francis, will the offsprings of WB x BD have lots of pepper since the BD is not a pigeon blood fish? My WB is quite free of pepper.

Hi bro Tze Hong......will have some slight peppering in the F1 ......you should ask Rajan (DCS) he specializes in WB....

Since I like albino,I choose WB X Golden Albino . fry will be WBI and AWB

Hi Hendri, i think in order to get albino WB, you will need to cross two of the F1s together.

Actually i don't quite favor crssing with albino as i do not want AWB as they may grow slower.

Does anyone have a picture of a BD cross WB? I think i saw one in another forum before. Will try to dig it out.
