NY/PA/NJ Discus get together.

I would like to give a great big thanks to Rod and Bob for opening up their homes to us nuts... You guys have a great operation going on over there in Jersey. The fish were amazing, so healthy looking. Rod, the food was delicious. I sure went home with a full stomach. It was great geting to talk with old friends, and also meeting new ones. How could you have a bad time, when your in a room with a bunch of discus nuts.. Jim, That was so nice of you to bring all those plecos for people to choose from. They were beautiful. I also want to thank Al for his presentation, We all can always use the help and knoledge when it comes to sick fish. Its always great to learn more.

Ashay buddy, as usual you always make a long drive enjoyable with your cheerful atitude. You had Al and I laughing the whole trip.

Now that we all know where the next get together is going to be, we can do a visit to my house if everyone wants to.

Oh well.. point is April 2nd.
The Gnocci was so good. I was telling Rashmi about it last night. She is saying we should try and make it at home. That dish was totally awesome.

Ashay Im looking forward to attending the meet at your place. Im sure we can design and put together your fishroom in no time with the attendee's.

“Hats off” to the Rod for putting setting up a great get together. The food and wine were excellent. Thank you Bob for the visit to your house. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the folks. All the discussions were like reading the Simply forum on overdrive. Al’s presentation was so detailed – I have a new appreciation for the knowledge you guys have.

Van, Jerzguy and Jim, thank you for the plants. I will keep you updated on their progress.

Rod, if it is not asking for too much, please pm (or publish) the recipe for gnocchi.

recipe will be posted this evening! i am very glad everyone had a great time! I think for the next event i will bring some of this recipe and some for the meat eaters with duck confit! Simply phenomenal!
