Sorry guys, I will be out of town on a business trip that weekend, and I have been busy lately with work and remodeling my garage fish room. Have a great meeting, everyone. Post some pictures for us.

This is the final call for anyone bringing any livestock to the meeting. If you need tank space, let me know ASAP! Space will be VERY limited and I'd hate for someone to show up with fish and there's no space.

I was looking at the weather forecast for this coming Saturday and wouldn't you know, Friday and Saturday show rain. I'm hoping that it's not all day long. This weekend it rained for about an hour and was beautiful the rest of the day. I'm hoping that we will have decent weather for an outdoor meeting and BBQ. If not, we can move it indoors.

Bad news. I won't be able to make it. I'm sorry! I'm pretty upset about it but we just heard Mikes grandpa is in the hospital. He had another stroke and they don't think he is going to pull out of it this time so we are heading to Palm Springs to be with family. If anything changes and I will be able to come, I will let you guys know.

If you plan on bringing a friend, significant other, spouse, etc., Please add a +1, +2, +3... to the end of your name on the list so that I can ensure there will be enough food.

To ensure there is enough seating, I recommend that you bring your own (deck, beach, patio) chair. I have a few patio chairs but, depending on the numbers that show up, I may not have enough. If we have to move indoors due to weather, seating will not be a problem unless 30 people show up. Then we're in trouble.


Some other items to consider for the meeting:

1. If you plan to purchase fish or frozen items, it would be a good idea to bring an appropriate container for the trip home. Disposable styrofoam coolers work well. Bags and oxygen will be provided.
2. If you don't plan to purchase fish or frozen items yet you enter the raffle and WIN fish or frozen items, you may still need a container.
3. If you have items that you would like to donate to the group for raffle, please bring them with you. Raffle item donations help fund the next meeting and are much appreciated! All I ask is if the item is used that it is in good working condition.
4. If you prefer specific items to eat or drink, please be sure to bring them. A menu will be sent to you via PM later tomorrow so that you can plan accordingly.
5. We officially have NO speakers. Since the structure of the meeting is relatively open, we'll likely have a round table to discuss our hobby and everyone can share their experiences. We have some very experienced members in our little group so I'm sure we'll have no problem learning from each other.
