    hey dave,
    it's Brazilian Pennyworth. I had frogbit but it would'nt grow well as I have a lot of surface movement and that plant likes still water. the pennyworth is so easy to keep. looks like a stem plant when you get it but in a few weeks it will change to long vine like.

    If you feed foods that float at the top you might want to section off the plants to one side of the tank to make feeding easier. I used to have red root floaters and right in the center of the tank I added some vinyl tubing which would float at the top and make a circle where I would drop in the flake food.

    That's a good idea, although it is a lot of fun to watch my discus turn themselves sideways to try to reach in and peck out that last pesky piece of flake from up top in between the leaves... but mine are fake though (for now) so I guess there's really not any risk to me.
