ok , I like the tall standing piece of wood in center, you need 1 or 2 more branchy pieces like that and ditch other 2. Plants look great

I see you have 2 Marineland heaters....Good. One of mine died last week after having it for 4 months. Awaiting for replacement. Keep on top of your temp. Tank looks nice.

Yea i use the piece of slate to pout the water on, if it weren't for that the sand would be everywhere. Also, i have been reading a lot about people giving meds to their discus as soon as they get them home. Is this 100% necessary?

At first I only had one, but everyone recommended two so I got another. The only concern I have with this is they are both rated bigger than the tank, so if one gets stuck in the on position it will boil my fish. Eventually I am going to get 2 smaller ones.

Don't know where you live but it is quite cold in NY. I have 2 300W in my 120G in a room with temp in low 60's. They are set at 86F but the tank only gets up to around 82F. I plan on swaping them out in the near future.

That's what I was planning on, I want to get all 4" because of the maintenance involven in the smaller ones. I do daily 75%+ water changes, but the feeding 5+ times a day seems to be too much.
