Interesting, these look like APD's with few more striations...Is there a difference, other than name??

should be completely different. sometimes the throw backs from a crossing tend to look the same as other strain throwbacks. this is why my yellows have striations. but if IAm correct they should throw a percentage of solids in each spawn. or in larry's case fish that are full patterned red turks

Thanks guys. I got the fry from Mike at Midwest Discus, used to be a sponsor but I don't see him listed anymore. They look very much like the parents now that they have grown out. They have started to do a little dancing so maybe before too long I will get a pair out of them.

Love the ABD throwback, the shape is really nice. IMO, you should have taken the pictures after they have adjusted to the lights (as I'm guessing, you took these picture soon after you turned on the lights?). Nice fish though

Strain - Wayne Ng's RP3R2
Owned it for a while but kept it at a friends place due to tank space.
My preference are my BIG BK's, RBT's, RD's and SE's but after seing them at my friends place I was in love with them and had to find a place for them.

Thank you for the complements. My friend was feeding him mixed food that i provided him ( Omega One Colour Flakes, Angel Plus, Dainichi, Tetra bits, Beefheart Flakes from Bill and ABW from Al). Staple food is Seafood Mix ( Dxcus Tuna Meal, Salmon and Prawn ). Variety of food is the key.

I can't wait to get a hold of some ASM and Valentines one day.
