    Default Wild discus

There’s an LFS here in Cincinnati calls Blue Hook Aquatics. It’s a small privately owned store and the owner has been a supplier of high quality cichlids for years. He QT’s all fish he brings in at his home before bringing them to the store. I dropped in for a visit yesterday and to my surprise he had a tank full of large wild discus. Greens, Royal blues and heckels. He QT’d them for 3 months before having the tank space for a dedicated 125gal tank at the store. There was a couple of small geos in there as well.
    $110each or 2 for $200.
It was very difficult to get pics d/t lighting in the store but here’s a pic of 1 of the heckels. What do you think?

From that angle it doesn't look like a bad discus, if he had these for 3 months then that is a good sign that they have been healthy.

Bag it up and ship it here. Looks like a nice Heckel. Prices are fair. If I lived near there he would probably have an empty tank and Id have some explaining to do!

Technically I don't have a dog house but I can still be in one if I start gifting myself fish too far inadvance of my birthday.
